New Study Proves that Organic is Better than Conventional
A new study done by Professor Carlo Leifert at Newcastle University in the UK has proven that foods grown organically are better than those grown conventionally. This contradicts an earlier study done in 2009 by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in the UK that concluded that there were no significant differences between foods grown organically and those grown using chemical industrialized agriculture. Both studies were meta analysis of previous publications, however the 2009 study was based on only 46 publications, while the 2014 Newcastle study was based on 343 peer reviewed publications.
