“Males of All Species are Becoming More Female “
Maybe a headline like this will prompt action from the more stubborn of the male species who are in decision making positions but who to date haven’t considered environmental issues as pressing or worthy of their attention. According to this article at dr. mercola, unregulated chemicals (nicknamed gender-benders) that are released into the environment are causing male animals and humans to take on feminine characteristics.
“But is it true that males are slowly “disappearing;” morphing into females? Well, Many studies now indicate these toxins may indeed be wreaking silent havoc within our male population. Male infertility is on the rise, and, about 250,000 fewer boys have been born in the last 30 years in the United States and Japan. Scientists are linking these phenomenons to a body accumulation of these types of gender-bending toxins. “
It looks like climate change isn’t the only environmental issue to worry about. While some action has already been taken with regards to phthalates, there are a number of other potentially harmful chemicals that need as much attention and these include fluoride which is found in much of North America’s drinking water, bisphenol A, nonylphenol ethoxylates and bovine growth hormones among others.
NB. our intention in including the above picture is not to imply in any way that Dustin Hoffman exhibits effeminate characteristics but only to acknowledge the excellent job he did in mimicking them in his noted role as Tootsie.
